I'm working on a PowerPoint presentation on a friend's mac, and wanting to insert a video into a slide. I am pretty conversant with PowerPoint, mostly on a PC, but haven't ever put a video into a presentation. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to grab a Youtube video, convert it to an appropriate file, and insert it into a slide? Given that this PowerPoint for Mac, should it be converted to a .wmv file? Thanks as always.

A manager at work wants me to download a YouTube file for them to save and embed in a presentation they're giving. Such things are a bit above my pay grade, technically speaking. Does anyone here know how to do that without purchasing software or logging on to some dubious third party site? Thanks so much.
